François Béland, B.A.A.,  

François Béland is an accredited member of the Canadian Technology Network (CTN). François Béland is also an Emploi-Québec certified trainer.

François  has more than 30 years of experience in the development of business strategies, segmentation and marketing. Graduating in marketing from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1985, François started out selling financial products for two years in the Montreal market. He continued his career for the next nine years in integrated communication-marketing.

He then managed the “client” aspect of a multimedia / pre-print company as executive vice-president in order to oversee the recovery of the company. Over three years he was vice-president of marketing and international sales in an export manufacturing company and was then marketing director, customer  service and communications in a major Canadian software company. In April 2002 he returned to consulting as a strategic business  advisor and in marketing.

François Béland also has training in innovation marketing, in sales, in international business (AMCEQ), in setting up CRM database systems, in e-commerce (Institut du Commerce Électronique du Québec) and in the Kaizen Approach of research and development (Toptech). He has also taught courses in commercial research / international trade to college students at the Séminaire de Sherbrooke.

He is known for his introduction of practical “Business to Business” solutions in the context of restructuring or reviving companies while forging effective communication tools. François was co-author of the strategic planning seminar on the best business practices of the MDEIE and was a guest lecturer on the best business practices for the 2006-2007 seminar tour on Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

François enjoys a solid experience in strategic planning and in marketing, but he can be defined above all for his work “on the ground.” François has many customers for whom he works as a “coach” or outside consultant.
